DECITEL Competence Explorer is a tool that helps teacher trainers and teachers to identify which competence frameworks may be used, respectively, to design new learning paths and plan individual professional development plans. It includes predefined formats for training design and self-positioning suggestions for teachers. These suggested learning paths are conceived as suggested core modules that may be considered common to many more complex professional development paths. They have a thematic focus on some recognized competence areas and allow contextualisation and personalisation by adding specific modules adapted to national curricula and to the level and kind of school where the target users are active.
