The General Objectives of the project are:

1) Fostering teachers' competencies in teaching Citizenship Education

2) Involvement of the community in Citizenship Education teaching

3) Inclusion of the digital dimension in Citizenship Education teaching

4) Creation of a Teachers Alliance Network

The specific objectives of the project are:

1) To create the conditions for a sustainable Teacher Academy Alliance, delivering joint degrees and open to further extension at the end of the first three years, as part of the European Education Area.

2) To develop a framework of teachers' competences and reference learning paths based on the existing EU and international standards, through the setting up of a collaborative Observatory of teachers’ needs in this area.

3) To collaboratively develop learning modules and lesson plans in several languages regarding citizenship and peace education, transformation of conflict, and participatory didactics leading to civic competencies.

4) To develop and distribute a toolkit for the creation of Local Learning Ecosystems (LLE) for the practice of democracy and civic participation, involving schools, teachers' training institutions, local administrations, and civil society organisations.

5) To study and test ways to quickly upscale good practice through existing teachers' training networks and a systemic and meaningful use of digital technology, including to support hybrid forms of mobility for teachers.

6) To document and systemically evaluate the innovative practice generated in partner schools and the progression of first experiments towards large-scale diffusion and institutionalisation.
