As part of the DeCiTeL project, Zentrum polis – Austrian Centre for Citizenship Education in Schools, met with Prof. Roland Trabe (University College of Teacher Education Vienna, Pädagogische Hochschule Wien, and European Union Studies – Jean Monnet Teacher Training Programme) to explore potential areas of cooperation with the Local Learning Ecosystem (LLE) Bildungsgrätzl VerteilerKREIS.

Located in Vienna’s 10th district, the Bildungsgrätzl VerteilerKREIS brings together educational stakeholders to strengthen local institutions through collaboration in Austria. Its joint initiatives focus on educational, cultural, and social priorities—primarily supporting children and young people, while also benefiting the wider neighbourhood.

The Local Learning Ecosystem pursues an inclusive, interdisciplinary, and sustainable approach to education, responding to the diverse needs of residents and fostering a vibrant, participatory community.
